Ongoing Competition Are you searching for any novel application for your mobile and which can re-storm your technical and business skills? Introduction
mBit, the world’s first mobile P2P Application, used for file sharing, publishing, data sharing, subscribing to channels, and making groups, is hosting the event ‘Novelty Ride’, wherein the application has to be downloaded and installed in the handset for the start. Suggest the new features and answer certain questions that will be asked on the regular basis through e-mails.
The objective of the competition is to suggest new features for mBit so that it gives a better user experience when into the system.
The Rules and Guidelines are as follows:

'Novelty Ride' will be a fully online event and will commence from May 11th, 2010. Following are the rules for the event:
New Feature Suggestions
Event starts from May 11th, 2010. The last date of submission of entries is June 10th, 2010. The participants will have to download the mbit application from http://mbit.co.in or http://download.mbit.tv/mbit_tv.jad use the application, use it and suggest new features.
New feature suggestions will be based on the look and feel, usage patterns and support of various activities on the network. Questions will be asked to identify the best and Power user of mBit, points of which will be of vital importance for the final drafting of results. These questions will primarily be related to the working of mBit as in the complete user interface experience on mBit.
'mBit' has developed its application for Symbian and J2ME platforms.
mBit application for Symbian runs on Nokia S60 handsets like N series, E series and other commonly used phones.
mBit for J2ME runs on all JAVA enabled handsets like ,Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, etc.

Judging Criteria
The winning team would be decided by the judges from mbit (A Joint-Venture between mbit Pte Ltd - Singapore & VASSoft.net - India)
Note: The decision of the organizers shall be treated as final and binding on all. The organizers reserve the rights to change any of the above rules as they see fit. Change in rules, if any, will be highlighted on the website and notified to the registered participants.

Members can be from different educational institutes and/or different disciplnes.
Eligibility
All students with a valid identity card of their respective educational institutes are eligible to participate in in the event.

Guidelines to the Competition
• The students with a valid identity card of their respective educational institutes are eligible to participate in the event.
• Interested candidates can form a team or participate individually.
• Participants can form their teams with the students of different educational institutes and of different discipline/s.
• Participants should register their entries within the time-frame as no late entries will not be entertained.
• In case of any change in the dates, the candidates will be notified via SMS and or E-mails.
• Participants are expected to strictly adhere to the problem statement and submit the relevant entries in the standard format.
• All the testing and usage of the application has to be done on the supported handsets.
